Something for everyone

January 30th, 2010

Magnetic resonance stimulation is simple. We get started, feel something very positive in our health, and are excited to tell others. What happens next is logical, and follows perfectly in the outworking of human nature. We ask ourselves, “How does this work?” And that’s where the trouble starts.

Some of us could care less about science. Some of us have such an intense allegiance to the published (peer-reviewed, abstracted and medically-indexed) word that we refuse to blow our nose unless we have supportive literature backing up the necessity of it. In any family, there are both extremes, and degrees of preference in the middle.

The scientific side of magnetic resonance stimulation, the core of MRS 2000 technology, is still in its infancy. To demand that it be more developed is a healthy impulse. We should always demand more. The wheels of science, however, grind slowly, and we must patiently allow its natural evolution, particularly since most investigations in medicine and wellness are funded through the deep pockets of Big Pharma and the pursuit to score a profit bonanza with the next blockbuster drug. Our culture and our corporations are pursuing drugs, not energy, as the answer to what ails us.

And yet the wheels of science do grind. It is inevitable that credible studies on the MRS 2000, born in North American soil, will begin to emerge. Already there are hundreds, if not thousands, of wellness effects that have been observed and objectively documented, giving birth to a long list of studies need to be performed. MediConsult, though small, seems to have produced more awareness in 3 strong years of presence in North America than many other companies have produced in the last 10 years combined.

On the flip side are those who could “give a rip” about science, who are pragmatic, and, in fact, have a bone to pick with the abuse of science as a stepchild to financial gain. Truth, for these people, is slain in the streets by greed, and the mishandling of “published truth” has become so rampant that we can’t really believe anything we read anymore, anyway! Hats off to you, my countercultural friends! As a group you are more familiar with the perpetual “corruption” of “The System” than anyone. Perhaps you’ve been a victim of it.

To both extremes, and to everyone in the middle, I say this: Join Energy Medicine Unlimited. Be part of our dialogue. Participate in our TeleClasses. Learn everything you can. If a PhD or physician is on a TeleClass – love it or hate it – but be there. If a guest faculty member is describing an amazing experience with magnetic resonance stimulation, judge for yourself the veracity of the claims, and feel free to ask questions – REAL TIME – using our ever-improving TeleClass interface.

As a group we are light-years ahead of our culture in our understanding of electrosmog, dirty electricity and the potential harmful effects of man-made electromagnetic fields and radiofrequencies. And as a forum for education, learning, interaction and support, Energy Medicine Unlimited is leading the way as well. Our ongoing aim is to deliver real, practical, and usable information relevant to the incredible wellness benefits of the MRS 2000.

Whether you are technically-minded, or averse to science altogether, there is something for everyone. Join us!

If you are a MediConsult representative, your membership and participation in E Med U Teleclasses is included in your yearly administration fee. If you are not a MediConsult representative, please contact the producer of E Med U, Dr. Joel Carmichael, DC, DACBSP, at:

Vitamin D3

January 22nd, 2010

As a follow-up to E Med U class Tuesday night, here’s the recommended dose of Vitamin D3:

4000 i.u. (smaller) to 5000 i.u. (larger)

Evidence-based approach: get blood tested for it (though many will prefer not to.) If your ileum (small intestine) is damaged, inflamed or diseased, the Vitamin D3 won’t absorb as well.

Alternative to oral D3: Use B-spectrum ultraviolet bulbs in winter. UV-B is responsible for the conversion of normal dietary Vitamin D into the active D3 form. UV-A is responsible for tanning of the skin.

Of interest: The more tan you are, the LESS Vitamin D you’ll convert.

Happy (anti) aging!

Dr. C

P.S. Our next Energy Medicine U class will be FEBRUARY 9, 2010 at 6:30 pm Mountain Standard Time. Be there! :-)

Thoughts on leadership

December 16th, 2009

Abraham Lincoln, one of the greatest American Presidents of all time, said: “The surest way to reveal one’s character is not through adversity but by giving them power.” No credit is given to the author of the following: “I sought my God and my God I could not find. I sought my soul and my soul eluded me. I sought my brother to serve him in his need, and I found all three — my God, my soul and thee.”

Both of these quotes are taken from Stephen R. Covey’s “The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness.” I recommend chapter 15. It’s about serving others as a leader — servant leadership. Paradoxically, great leaders combine personal humility with professional will. No room for narcissism. No room for self-interest. It’s about the higher call to lead a team in accomplishing something of lasting value.

From Jim Collins’ book “Leading Beyond Walls,” great leaders define what those who follow will aim to achieve based on core values and principles. They build mechanisms of connection and commitment rooted in freedom of choice, rather than relying on systems of coercion and control. Great leaders realize that the exercise of true leadership is inversely proportional to the exercise of power. Great leadership strikes a perfect balance between formal authority (derived by one’s position (earned or not)), and moral authority (which is bestowed — voluntarily and through freedom of choice — by the follower!)

Nearly everyone leads someone, somewhere. If you are a leader, be a model, not a critic. Lead by example. Be as positive as possible, as often as possible. Learn this: It’s not about you! (Newsflash!) Your personal integrity matters most. If you say it or promise it, do it. Right makes might (and not the other way around.) Be a servant of those under you, and watch what happens next. Patience, kindness, gentleness, empathy and gentle persuasion are character-lifting and life-changing for people. When treated this way people follow for all the right reasons, volunteering their genuine commitment. By throwing your weight around (weight that is conferred by “position” or “status”) you weaken yourself, your team, and the quality of relationships around you.

Here’s a leadership test: How do you treat the ones who test you the most?

Humility matters. A lot!

Electrosmog update

November 25th, 2009

I had the great pleasure and privilege of meeting Magda Havas, Ph.D., a true pioneer in the field of electrosmog and “dirty electricity.” Dr. Havas’ objective is to measure the ill-effects of man-made frequencies in ways that everyone can understand and appreciate (including organized medicine). To that end, she has made some startling discoveries (yikes!) about compact fluorescent lightbulbs, diabetes and treadmills, and MS and plasma televisions. Suffice it to say this: We’ve only just begun!
So much education to bring to people about the positive and potentially protective benefits of magnetic resonance stimulation, and at the same time, providing simple and practical ways to lessen the impact of dirty electricity (or more appropriately, dirty electromagnetism) on our health.
Thank you Dr. Havas — I look forward to sharing some of your findings in this Blog forum, and hosting you as a guest faculty member on E Medicine Unlimited in the near future!

Upward spiral

October 10th, 2009

Join us for our next E Med U TeleClass THIS TUESDAY NIGHT!! If you are an E Med U member you’ll receive emails with details for logging in, dialing in, and participating live! This Tuesday we welcome back guest faculty member Dr. Robyn Benson from Santa Fe Soul. You won’t want to miss this one folks. Be there — we’re working on a crisp, content-rich, more time-efficient format we know you’ll really like!

MediConsult USA is up and running!! Our warehouse in Florida is locked and loaded, ready to serve the United States of America. Many thanks to Health Technicians Canada (Allie and Sabine) for handling the massive workload and supporting the entire North American continent so well for so long! And a hearty welcome to Brandon Kress, our capable new point-man in Ft. Lauderdale, overseeing U.S. operations, fulfillment and support!

Last night following a great public lecture event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Denver Technological Center, organized and coordinated by a wonderful team of MRS 2000 enthusiasts along Colorado’s front range with 65+ people in attendance, a patient re-introduced herself to me. She said, “I’m sorry I only came to see you one time… but you put me on “the mat” and my back pain disappeared and hasn’t returned. I didn’t need to keep my next appointment.” I told her there was no need to apologize. :-/ Honest, this is the kind of thing that jazzes me tremendously! :-)

At the same event, Nancy Stanton, who was a former fibromyalgia sufferer (and a former long-time patient) brought a guest to hear about the power of energy medicine. I don’t see Nancy anymore. No more fibromyalgia; no more sinus infections. Daily use of the MRS 2000. Nancy is a champion!! She seized the opportunity, purchased an MRS 2000 for home use, and has been reaping the benefits ever since. Bummer for my practice, and good for her! And, ultimately, that’s why I’m in practice — to “kick people out.” Or, as one of my colleagues says, “Treat ‘em and street ‘em.”

As Bud Glass taught at Day 1 of our Denver Certification Course today: “Be consistent in your use of the MRS 2000.” He teaches the “3 C’s”: Consistency, Convenience, and Comfort. Keep the MRS 2000 out in plain view, set up where it is easy to use. Use it daily. And make sure it is in a place where you are quiet, comfortable, and able to receive a great, unhurried application session.”

As we finished Day 1 of our Denver Certification today I reflected on the incredible history of the MediConsult family since our humble beginnings in North America. Today, four Academy graduates of our Colorado Team shared the teaching of Certification: Bud Glass, Jacque Stevens, Dr. Carrie Wolf, and me. Tomorrow, a fifth team member, Sue Bickel, will help to present the Sound Light Relax System (SLRS). Men and women of EMU, this is shear AWESOMENESS!! It was such a great feeling to see the course taught so well! This type of teamwork has been happening in Canada for a long time (thanks to leaders like Susan DeBoer, Hon. BSc., MSc., Marcel Wolfe, Dr. Phil McAllister, Allie Ochs and other Certification instructors from the MediConsult Academy) and thanks to the Academy training provided by CEO Wolfgang Jaksch, it’s catching on quite nicely in the U.S.!!

Since every home in North America needs an MRS 2000, we are systematically building a platform where we can expand, sustainably and consistently, into other geographic areas without slowing growth in our own neighborhoods. A platform where the health, wellness and anti-aging benefits of pulsating electromagnetic fields can be shared face to face, “mano y mano,” through personal experience and the sharing of scientific knowledge. The challenge: There are entire States (if not Provinces) where there is yet not a single MRS 2000. (!!) Some of the current Certification participants here in Denver have come from British Columbia, New Mexico, Ohio, and New Jersey. This is the big idea. We’re on an upward spiral, and this “global view” is a huge reason why!

As with seasoned instructors across the country, our growing team of Academy instructors here in Denver stands ready to serve YOU. Who do YOU know in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico and neighboring States, who have a need in the coming months to hear about the MRS 2000? If they are not close to Certifications in California, Florida, Ontario, North Carolina, New Mexico, Hawaii, Maine or at other locations where the North American Academy members will be teaching soon, maybe Denver is the best place. Our next Colorado Certification will be February 2010. As always, we’ll have a high energy public lecture the night before. Send any interested prospects to the lecture; we’ll record their presence and the fact that you sent them, and then we’ll send you notification that they attended so you can follow up! And if they attend Certification, we’ll return your associate to you freshly Certified, well-educated, and ready to accomplish our mission: An MRS 2000 in every home!

Similarly, who do you know in Ontario, Canada and neighboring Provinces (or in the northeastern United States?) A team of dedicated professionals from the MediConsult Academy will be teaching there next week! Or Florida? Or Maine? Or North Carolina? Or California? Or New Mexico? Or British Columbia? Start reviewing your contacts, sending emails, and checking MRS2000meetings.com. Or better yet, make a phone call or two and send out a Wave Magazine, or a Wave Movie, or a link to MediConsult.tv.

We are spiraling upward… and we’ll spiral faster as we think outside the box — or in this case, outside our own zip codes. Everyone who teaches is committed to helping anyone from anywhere experience MRS 2000 sessions at public events. Let’s help each other have longer geographic reach! And if you’re interested in becoming a member of the teaching Academy, contact me through this blog! We’ll Get ‘R Done! :-)

See you in Class Tuesday night! Mark your calendar and DON’T MISS THIS CLASS!
